And only those of a certain vintage will know which song I'm talking about! It's funny, a lot of my blog titles are inspired by songs.

Heart- be -still …..this is a photo I received today from a friend in Alberta, they just got 18"of snow!!!
I know where I'd rather be!!! But I do feel soooooome sympathy for them, so I thought I'd post what it's like here today!! Sorry guys!!
Yesterday was the warmest day of the year in Nottingham, 14 deg, and today it was even warmer:
The daffodils have been out for weeks!
These are a variety of tulip, already fully opened
The pyracanthus is in full colour
I love forsythia!
I met an English Sheepdog, Willie, on my walk
The cars were lining up to get into Wollaton Park, it was MUCH quicker to walk!
There was a 10km Fun and Run Event taking place
There I am - the leader of the pack!!!!
Just kidding!
There was a Craft Fair in the Great Hall
Lots of neat stuff for sale
Including these hats and no, I didn't buy one!
But I know someone that did!
And she also bought a purse made from recycled kimono fabric, imported from Japan.
I consoled myself with a Lemon Drizzle cookie! I'm trying to be minimalist and not collect stuff!!
Except it's all collecting somewhere else!
The magnolias were in full bud and beginning to bloom
The primulas and purple hyacinths were in their glory
No line-ups for "the loo"
Families picnicking and playing, it is Easter Bank Holiday after all!
And then this a****** who thought he'd jump the queue and drove onto the grass. So I stood and stared him out!! And yes, it did work!!
We went to check out a new supermarket, Waitrose, that has just opened. What a great team!
And…….. my fellow Albertans….. you may have the snow but…….
You don't pay these prices for Alberta Beef!!!! Original price $82/kg!!! No wonder it was on sale!!
